Focusing on the little things that make your child truly them, my birthday sessions are all about capturing genuine moments and real personality. From cheeky grins to cake covered fingers, I photograph the story of who they are right now - their laughter, their energy and the magic of this age.

Cake Smash and Birthday Sessions

Birthday and Cake Smash Sessions are a joyful celebration of who your little one is right now. Whether that’s with a messy cake smash, classic portraits or a bit of both – these sessions are perfect for letting their personality shine through!

Choose the perfect Birthday Package for you:

Cake Smashes – the full birthday experience! This playful session includes a beautiful cake lovingly made by the talented HM Bakes styled to suit your session perfectly. Time for family photographs, birthday portraits, the cake smash and the splash photographs too! 10 beautiful edited digital images are included.

Birthday Sessions – classic birthday portraits! This short and sweet session includes a 20 minute mini session and 5 digital photographs. There is time family and sibling photographs but the main focus is creating fun filled birthday portraits. We use bubbles, balloons, numbers and much more to create timeless photographs of your little ones.  

Held in my cosy cabin studio, the space is warm, welcoming and styled to feel just like home. You’ll have full access to my studio wardrobe for outfits carefully selected to match my classic, timeless style or you are welcome to bring something personal from home. To ensure the photographs arrive before their big day, I recommend scheduling your session for 2-3 prior to your little one’s birthday.

Whether your child is turning one or five, we’ll create a playful, meaningful session filled with memories you’ll treasure forever.

  • When should I book my birthday session?

    I advise scheduling your little one’s birthday photographs for around 3 weeks prior to their birthday – this way your photographs will be back by their special day!

  • What’s the difference between Cake Smash and a Birthday Session?

    My Birthday Sessions are simply birthday themed portraits. We use balloons, numbers and bubbles to have a fun filled session and family photographs are also included. A Cake Smash includes all of this too with the addition of the messy cake smash, a beautiful cake by HM Bakes and we finish with a splash in the little tub!

  • How do I book?

    Simply fill in the contact form here and we will get you scheduled in! It is just a £50 deposit to secure your space.

  • Can I buy more photographs?

    Of course! I have options available for individual photographs and collections.

  • What do I bring?

    Once booked, you will receive a prep-guide with all of the details of what to bring, what to expect and where the studio is located. I do have spares so don’t worry if you forget anything!

  • Where are you based?

    My studio is based in Cradley Heath, Birmingham! It is a cosy cabin studio with lots of room to make yourselves at home, get comfortable and watch the magic happen!
